Jay Johnston

As Skye Chase Estate Winery prepared to open its doors, Jay Johnston joined us during our foundational phase to help bring our winemaking vision to life.

Working closely with our leadership and vineyard team, Jay played an instrumental role in establishing our production systems, refining our stylistic direction, and delivering the first collection of Skye Chase wines. His work helped set the tone for the quality, precision, and elevated experience we are proud to share today.

With our launch complete and our initial wines successfully released, Jay has now moved on from his founding role — leaving behind a strong framework and a cellar positioned for continued growth.

As we enter our next stage of development, we are excited to begin the search for the next exceptional winemaker who will build upon this foundation and guide Skye Chase into its next chapter.
