A blend of Baco Noir and Marechal Foch, Inspiration Red is a medium-bodied wine that opens with aromas of black cherry, blackberry, and black currant, layered with subtle earthy notes. The palate delivers ripe black plum and berry flavours accented by vanilla and a soft hint of chocolate. The grapes were hand harvested, de-stemmed, and then fermented on their skins to build colour, structure, and flavour. The wine was then aged for 12 months in a combination of new and seasoned French and American oak barrels, adding complexity and texture while preserving varietal character.

This elegant blend of Cabernet Franc (52%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (48%) captures the essence of the 2022 growing season, a year that was ideal for cultivating bold reds in Ontario. The result is a wine that balances freshness and richness, with a nose of tobacco leaf, earthy tones, and black currant. On the palate, you’ll experience the lush flavours of plum, fresh red berries, peppercorns, and grilled meats. Pinot Noir, known as the “heart-break grape”, is meticulously crafted with care and patience. Fermented on its skins for 28 days and aged in a blend of new and seasoned barrels, this wine reveals a delightful bouquet of cranberry and cherry, with hints of raspberry, blackberry, toast, and subtle minerality. It’s a testament to perseverance and dedication, embodying the essence of the land it hails from.
